Unknown optional top-level overlay sections such as skills are preserved but inactive, with sanitized startup warning, instead of blocking channel connection. Known invalid settings and infrastructure policy/credential fields remain fatal. Regression preserves unknown data across writes and restart. Full487 tests/typecheck/build/diffcheck pass. Review b2397aa42480a743c56a69f747e15ac76001a733427cf28601f54295c2fcb52d no findings. No Che configuration changed or rollout performed.
