Delivery contract
Reader outcome: build and operate a GovStack platform on an existing OpenStack tenant. Sequence: preparation -> gateway and Management -> LoadBalancer cluster -> two workload Spokes (information-mediator and example-workloads) -> private per-cluster ingress and public routes -> everyday GitOps/Dashboard use -> scaling and upgrades -> explicit teardown. Chapter 6 installs the actual Information Mediator and example workloads.
Package: explanatory English chapter matching current Chapters 3/4, runnable walkthroughs and tested helpers, generated white editorial visuals, short video run sheets/scripts (not fabricated recordings), and a portable practitioner skill in existing giga/cloud-skills.
Language and teaching: article-editor, humanizer, technical-chapter-pedagogy; one running practical case, concepts before use, inclusive prose, no academic audit structure.
Scope: existing OpenStack tenant, no OpenStack installation or productive mutations. No live deployment approval or credentials supplied. Exercise offline preparation/tests and render actual PDF/DOCX/HTML; distinguish these from real cloud execution. Any implementation blocker is recorded and guarded, never presented as success.
Branches: chapter/5-platform-operations (content), chapter/5-platform-practitioner (cloud-skills). One integrated acceptance batch, one must-fix repair pass. Human review before merge.
Implementation progress: Chapter 5 manuscript, PDF/DOCX/HTML render, public-safe generated figures, lab helper and agent distribution integration are in work on the dedicated branches. Parent execution: 25 lab tests pass, including actual pinned-source rendering/lifecycle commands and real localhost HTTPS/certificate/marker checks. Native Bootstrap renderer and lifecycle suites and Envoy Helm lint/template checks passed. Nine session/record contract boundary checks and 12 learning routes also passed. These are offline/local checks, not evidence of a running cloud platform.
Release dependencies observed at Bootstrap 1195f539afe5a1018be07d2e1865824c225ee407:
Bounded independent editorial/pedagogy and engineering panels are running. This remains a review candidate, not an accepted end-to-end release.
